What is a headlight lens cover?
It is the clear polycarbonate outer shell of the headlight, called qazaz al-sham’ah (headlight glass) in Saudi Arabia. If the housing, projector and bulbs still work, replacing only the cover makes a yellow, cloudy or cracked headlight look new without buying a full assembly.
Why do headlights yellow so fast in Saudi Arabia?
Intense UV, summer heat above 45°C, dust and sandstorms destroy the factory UV coating; the polycarbonate then oxidises and hazes. Polishing removes only the top layer, so yellowing usually returns within months.
Is replacing the lens cheaper than a new headlight?
Usually by a wide margin. Our reference prices are about USD 30–330 (SAR 110–1,240) per side, most under USD 200, while a dealer assembly for a premium car often costs several times that.
How do I choose the right lens?
Match brand, model or chassis code (e.g. Mercedes W213, BMW G30), model year, headlight version (halogen vs LED/xenon) and side. In Saudi Arabia the left headlight is on the driver side. Some models differ between GCC and US specification. If unsure, send the VIN or a photo on WhatsApp.
Are these genuine (dealer) parts?
No. They are OEM-grade aftermarket replacements molded to original dimensions in UV-coated polycarbonate with >90% light transmission. We state this clearly on every page.
What is the minimum order and trade price?
Site prices are single-piece reference prices. Trade prices depend on quantity and SKU mix and are quoted after we receive your list; carton orders and repeat buyers get better terms. We do not sell retail to individuals.
How long is shipping from Dubai to Saudi Arabia?
Road freight Dubai → Riyadh or Dammam through the Al Batha border usually takes 3–5 days including clearance. Sea to Jeddah takes longer. Direct containers from China to Jeddah or Dammam take about 25–35 days. Lead time is confirmed on the proforma.
What are the Saudi import requirements (SABER, VAT)?
Auto parts fall under SASO technical regulations and, depending on the HS code, may need a conformity certificate through the SABER platform, plus customs duty and 15% VAT collected by ZATCA. The importer handles clearance; we provide the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and test reports on request.
How do I pay?
This is a catalog site with no online payment. Payment terms (usually bank transfer) and shipping are agreed directly with our sales team on WhatsApp or Telegram after you approve the proforma.
How is a lens cover installed?
Remove the headlight, warm it to about 80°C in an oven or with a heat gun to soften the old sealant, remove the old lens, clean the channel and seal the new lens with the supplied glue. Any headlight workshop or auto electrician can do it.
Which LED bulb bases do you stock?
130 W and 150 W LED headlight bulbs in H1, H4 (Hi/Lo), H7, H8/H9/H11, 9005 (HB3), 9006 (HB4) and 9012, plus LED mini projectors.
