How to Choose the Right Headlight Lens: Chassis Codes, Years, Versions and GCC vs US Spec

Short answer: you need five things — brand, model or chassis code (e.g. Mercedes W213, BMW G30), model year, headlight version (halogen vs LED/xenon) and side. In Saudi Arabia the left headlight is the driver side. Also check specification: many US-imported cars (Camry, Accord, Altima, Ford) have a different headlight shape from GCC-spec cars.

1. Chassis code or generation

Mercedes-Benz: C-Class W204, W205, W206; E-Class W211, W212, W213; S-Class W221, W222, W223.
BMW: 5 Series E60, F10, G30; 7 Series E65/E66, G11/G12; X5 E53, E70, F15.
Toyota, Lexus, Hyundai, Nissan: usually by model and year range (Camry 2012–2014, Lexus ES 2013–2018, Accent 2011–2014).

2. Year and facelift

Choose the product whose year range includes your car’s model year.

3. Headlight version

“High Version” means the higher-spec (usually LED or xenon) headlight; “Low Version” the basic halogen one.

4. GCC or US specification

Dealer cars in Saudi Arabia are GCC spec, but many cars imported from the US have US-design headlights. We mark “US Spec” in the part name where it differs.

5. Side

Left = driver side, right = passenger side. Lenses are sold per side; order both for a matching pair.
